  • Advanced University degree in Information Technology, or first university degree with a relevant combination of academic and professional qualifications.

    Work Experience:

  • Five years post qualification working experience in developing and managing information systems, preferably at the UN or other international organizations.


  • English and French are the two working languages for the United Nations Secretariat. For this post, fluency in English, both written and oral required.
  • Working knowledge of any other UN official language desirable.

    Other Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to design, configure and implement complex database systems and computer programmes for documentation, conferences and financial applications.

    6. For UN staff members, after submission of an application, they will receive an email reminding them to provide copies of their last two Performance Appraisal System evaluations to the appropriate office.

    These copies may be submitted by email, fax or regular mail with a clear indication of the vacancy announcement number.
