Ministry of Labour Mentor - Saku (Marsabit Central) Sub-County (Hula Hula) Jobs in Kenya

Role

  • Provide guidance, psychosocial support and skill-building mentorship to assigned mentees.

  • Empower mentees to achieve personal, academic and professional development goals through structured mentorship and support.

    Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain regular contact with assigned mentees.

  • Conduct one-on-one and group mentorship sessions.

  • Support mentees in goal setting, life-skills development and decision-making.

  • Refer participants to appropriate support services when necessary, including counseling and health services.

  • Document mentorship sessions and maintain confidentiality of participant information.

  • Participate in training programmes and peer-learning forums.

  • Submit regular progress and challenge reports to the Mentor Supervisor.

  • Build positive and supportive relationships that encourage personal growth and resilience among mentees.

    Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate in Social Work, Education, Psychology or a related field.

  • Experience working with youth, vulnerable populations or poverty graduation programmes.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated empathy, reliability and commitment to supporting others.

  • Must serve as a positive role model with a clean ethical record.
