About the Role
Oversee daily restaurant operations and support the delivery of excellent customer service.
Coordinate restaurant staff, monitor service quality, ensure compliance with hygiene standards and maintain smooth operations during service hours.
Support efficient restaurant operations in a busy hospitality environment while ensuring customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service delivery.
Coordinate waiters, cashiers, kitchen staff and other team members as required.
Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous and professional service.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming and adherence to workplace procedures.
Handle customer complaints and resolve service issues professionally.
Ensure the restaurant maintains high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and sanitation.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant staff to minimize shortages and wastage.
Support order processing, service coordination and timely delivery of customer orders.
Monitor staff performance and provide guidance to improve productivity and service quality.
Ensure restaurant equipment, furniture and service areas are properly maintained.
Prepare basic operational reports and communicate issues to management.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash-handling controls and daily operational checks where required.
Support staff training and onboarding to maintain consistent service standards.
Minimum Requirements
Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Team Leader or in
a similar hospitality role.
Good understanding of restaurant operations, customer service and food hygiene practices.
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coordinate staff and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
High levels of integrity, responsibility and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
Good organizational and reporting skills.
A Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Service or a related field will be an added advantage.
