One Acre Fund Tree Specialist Jobs in Tanzania; Seeking an operational leader with 2+ years of experience to drive One Acre Fund tree marketing and distribution in Tanzania.

The role manages up to 7 Supervisors, engages key partners and scales farmer enrollment, with a path to broader program portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities

Program Marketing, Sales & Distribution Strategy

  • Lead execution of annual marketing, farmer enrollment and seedling distribution strategies.

  • Drive product adoption, sales and farmer participation.

    Field Execution & Operational Leadership

  • Direct field operations across 100–150 sites.

  • Manage species selection, seedling distribution pipelines and post‑distribution survival tracking.

    Team Management & Capacity Building

  • Manage and mentor 6–10 Tree Supervisors.

  • Set performance targets and provide training on agroforestry practices, behavioral change and customer service.

    Farmer Training & Community Engagement

  • Develop and deliver training materials on tree management and agroforestry.

  • Maximise seedling survival rates through farmer education.

    Stakeholder Coordination & Integration

  • Partner with local government, cross‑functional teams and external partners.

  • Maintain program alignment and streamline operations.

    Career Growth & Development

  • Weekly check‑ins with manager, mentorship and training programs.

  • Regular feedback and career
    reviews every six months.

    Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ relevant experience in field operations, program marketing, product adoption, sales or community behavioural change.

  • Strong technical knowledge of agroforestry, tree management, seedling pipelines or agricultural extension.

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.

  • Degree or equivalent training in Agroforestry, Agriculture, Marketing, Business Administration, Development Studies or related field.

  • Excellent interpersonal, training and communication skills.

  • Ability to engage effectively with rural farming communities and local stakeholders.
