The Frontier Pioneer School Music Teacher & School Band Trainer Jobs in Kenya

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Music, Music Education or equivalent practical training.

  • Proven experience teaching music to children.

  • Demonstrated experience leading vocal and choir programmes.

  • Experience training and directing school bands across multiple musical instruments.

  • School-based teaching experience is preferred.

  • Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of music instruction and performance.

  • Ability to nurture learners' musical talents and performance skills.

  • Experience organizing music activities, performances and co-curricular programmes.

    General Requirements | Teaching Roles

  • TSC registration is mandatory for TSC-regulated teaching positions.

  • Demonstrated digital literacy skills.

  • Strong communication skills in English and Kiswahili.

  • Familiarity with the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum.

  • Strong safeguarding and child protection ethos.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic learning environment.

  • Strong commitment to learner success and holistic development.
