WSTF Job

Location: Kenya.

Water Services Trust Fund (WSTF) is a State Corporation established under the Water Act, 2002 with the mandate “to assist in financing the provision of water services to areas of Kenya which are without adequate water services.” In order to meet its mandate.

WSTF would like to fill the following positions:-

1. Resource Mobilization Officer(RMO) - Ref: WSTF/6/ RMO

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies for sourcing funds, from bilateral, multilateral, private companies and individuals

Assist the Chief Executive Officer in marketing and funding through development of relevant proposals

Negotiate and manage funding agreements with financiers

Regularly reporting and documenting WSTF activities to financiers.

Qualifications and Key Competencies:

Must have a bachelors degree in development studies

Post graduate degree in relevant field will be an added advantage

At least six (6) years experience in fund raising

Experience with interacting with different donors is an added advantage

Knowledge in designing & structuring of public private partnerships

Have excellent negotiation skills

Knowledge of water sector reforms is an added advantage

Have a good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and internet services.
