Qualifications Required:

The candidate should have a law degree with at least 10 years experience in judicial reform, including developing training curricula, conducting judicial trainings, enhancing court administration systems, liaising

with judges and governmental agencies in furtherance of judicial reform and building capacity in developing countries.

The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the issues surrounding judicial reform in transitional countries, and will have strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with relevant partners.

Experience in training, project management and delivering technical assistance in development settings is preferred. The candidate should be used to working both under pressure and be able to adjust in circumstances where there maybe delays and changes to plans.

The candidate should be able to work independently, but within a team setting.

English language fluency required. Significant experience in common law jurisdictions is required.

Knowledge/experience of South Sudan is not essential, but is a significant advantage.

The position is expected to start in January and last for 12 months with the possibility of extension
