GTZ Vacancies: GTZ advises governments on mainstreaming their goals and change processes in laws and strategies, and implementing these country-wide.

The GTZ seeks to recruit for the following position:

Senior Programme Officer - Sexual Reproductive Health Component

Qualifications:

Post graduate degree in public health or related fields Undergraduate degree in either health or natural sciences;

Knowledge and experience with the medical, cultural and anthropological aspects of SRH including linkages to HIV/AIDS;

Knowledge and experience in gender and Reproductive rights issues;

Previous experience in policy dialogue and technical advisory role;

At least 5 years work experience in sexual reproductive health or related health programs within East Africa;

Previous management experience in a similar program is preferred, including financial oversight/management;

Proven leadership skills and experience;

Team player with broad social skills, high inter-cultural;

Sensitivity and good negotiation skills;

Strong oral and written communication skills;
