The Parliamentary Service Commission Director, Curriculum, Training and Research Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

Reports to the Executive Director, Centre for Parliamentary Studies and Training (CPST).

Provides overall direction on matters of Curriculum Development, Training and Research under the guidance of the Executive Director.

Advises the Executive Director on training, curriculum development and research matters.

Supervises and coordinates all staff within the directorate.

Ensures effective coordination, design and delivery of training, research and consultancy programmes.

Ensures coordination and implementation of research activities at the Centre.

Requirements for Appointment

A PhD in Education from a recognized university.

Master’s Degree in Education (Curriculum Development and Instruction) or Social Sciences from a recognized university.

A Certificate in Leadership Programmes such as Transformative Leadership or Strategic Leadership Development Programmes.

Such other qualifications as may be approved by the Parliamentary Service Commission from a reputable institution.

Published articles in the field of training, research and development for a reputable organization.

Must have served in senior management for a minimum of fifteen (15) years in the public service.

Overall work experience of at least fifteen (15) years, five (5) of which must have been at the level of PSC 14/13 or an equivalent position in the Public Service Commission or private sector.
