One Acre Fund Customer Service Representative Jobs in Uganda;Seeking an exceptional customer service and communications professional with 1–2+ years of experience to strengthen client engagement and retention by delivering high‑quality voice support to farmers across Uganda.

Responsibilities

Call Management

  • Professionally handle phone calls from prospective and current customers.

  • Record case details and actions taken in the ticketing system.

  • Provide information on One Acre Fund services (inputs, payments, trainings).

  • Resolve cases on first call where possible; escalate when needed.

  • Conduct outbound calls to follow up on unresolved cases.

  • Make proactive calls to communicate deliveries, repayment reminders, training schedules and updates.

  • Run outbound surveys to assess farmer satisfaction.

  • Record outcomes of all calls accurately.

  • Meet daily and weekly outbound call targets while maintaining quality standards.

    Follow‑Up

  • Follow up on system challenges raised by staff.

  • Escalate system‑wide challenges immediately.

  • Ensure tickets are correctly categorized with necessary details.

    Market Access Support

  • Process payments to farmers using Field Pro platform.

  • Verify farmer and transaction details before initiating payments.

  • Capture and reconcile payment records accurately.

  • Escalate payment failures or mismatches promptly.

  • Relay pricing, collection point and produce sale information to farmers.

  • Maintain documentation of payments
    and support reconciliations.

    Qualifications

    Technical Skills

  • Fast typing skills.

  • Experience with contact center technology and productivity tools.

  • Computer skills in email, internet, Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

    Knowledge

  • 1–2 years’ experience in contact center operations.

  • Skilled multi‑tasker (e.g., talking while typing).

  • Good phone handling techniques.

  • Customer service professional passionate about serving smallholder farmers.

  • English • Luganda • Lusoga
