Job Summary
Design, develop, deploy and maintain distributed C# and .NET microservices running on Azure and Kubernetes within a large-scale event-driven architecture.
Own software solutions throughout their entire lifecycle, from solution design and development to deployment, production monitoring, optimization and continuous improvement.
Contribute to AI-native engineering practices by leveraging modern AI tools to enhance software design, development, testing, incident management and technical communication.
Drive the delivery of scalable, resilient and high-performing software systems that support business growth and customer-facing products.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build and maintain distributed C# and .NET microservices within a cloud-native architecture.
Develop scalable, secure and reliable software solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure.
Implement and support event-driven systems using messaging technologies and asynchronous processing patterns.
Deploy, monitor and manage services running on Kubernetes environments.
Take ownership of software solutions from concept, development and deployment through production support and optimization.
Design systems that effectively handle retries, idempotency, failure scenarios and out-of-order event processing.
Monitor production applications using observability tools, metrics, logs, traces and dashboards.
Investigate incidents, diagnose root causes and implement long-term reliability improvements.
Participate in on-call support and production operations to ensure system resilience and availability.
Collaborate with distributed engineering teams across multiple locations and time zones.
Continuously improve systems, platforms and engineering practices following the principle of leaving systems better than they were found.
Utilize AI-powered development tools to improve engineering productivity, code quality and solution design.
Contribute to automated testing, deployment safeguards and software quality assurance practices.
Support technical reviews, architecture discussions and engineering knowledge sharing initiatives.

C# and .NET software development.
Experience developing and supporting event-driven architectures.
Experience with messaging technologies such as Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar platforms.
Practical experience building and maintaining microservices-based applications.
Experience deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes platforms.
Experience using observability and monitoring tools to support production systems.
Experience working within DevOps-oriented software engineering environments.
Experience supporting production systems through on-call operations and incident management.
Experience collaborating with distributed teams across different locations and time zones.
