Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of Digital Banking, the Senior Product Manager will lead the development, enhancement, delivery, and management of the Bank's digital product portfolio.
The role is responsible for defining product vision, managing the product roadmap, driving innovation, overseeing product lifecycle management, and ensuring digital solutions deliver customer value while supporting business growth and competitive advantage.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Product Strategy (50%)
Develop product visions and strategies that support growth in the fintech and digital banking ecosystem.
Define and drive innovation strategies covering core, adjacent, and disruptive innovations.
Manage products throughout their lifecycle, from development and launch to maturity and decline.
Define product KPIs and monitor performance against business objectives.
Continuously review product strategies based on market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and organizational goals.
Evaluate partnership opportunities and assess commercial and technical feasibility.
Own and drive the overall digital product roadmap, ensuring delivery within approved budgets and commercial targets.
Align digital product strategies with revenue growth objectives and business priorities.
Product Management (30%)
Design and implement product management frameworks and operating models.
Establish best-practice product management processes including:
Product Vision
Product Strategy
Roadmap Development
Product Lifecycle Management
Act as the link between commercial and technology teams to ensure digital products deliver maximum business value.
Ensure governance, compliance, and service standards are maintained throughout product delivery.
Build scalable digital solutions using digital and alternative delivery channels.
Support operational excellence and compliance with audit and enterprise risk requirements.
People Management (20%)
Build, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing product management teams.
Lead product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams in delivering customer-focused solutions.
Collaborate closely with technology, marketing, finance, legal, compliance, vendors, and strategic partners.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Education
Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution.
Experience
Minimum
of 8 years' professional experience, including at least 3 years in a similar leadership role.
Minimum of 5 years' product management experience managing strategic product roadmaps from conception to launch.
Experience leading product vision, go-to-market strategy, and product design discussions.
Experience working across Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, and Digital Banking functions.
Strong understanding of mobile banking platforms and digital financial services.
Deep understanding of the fintech ecosystem and digital innovation trends.
Experience monitoring competitor activity and market developments.
Knowledge and Skills
Strong understanding of financial concepts, banking products, and digital business models.
Ability to anticipate market changes, regulatory developments, and business challenges.
Proven ability to create and communicate compelling product visions.
Strong strategic thinking and roadmap development capabilities.
Experience translating customer and business needs into scalable digital solutions.
Strong commercial acumen and business case development skills.
Ability to balance customer experience, business objectives, and technology requirements.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
