81st College Photographer of the Year Competition;The College Photographer of the Year competition celebrates excellence in student photojournalism worldwide. Now in its 81st edition, CPOY invites undergraduate and graduate students to submit their photographs, stories, and projects created between September 2025 and December 2026.

Eligibility

  • Undergraduate or graduate students enrolled for at least one semester, trimester, or quarter between September 2025 and December 2026 at any college, university, or educational institution worldwide

  • Must not have worked two or more cumulative years as a full‑time professional photographer, photo editor, or videographer (including paid internships)

    Restrictions

  • Individuals with two or more cumulative years of full‑time professional experience in photography, photo editing, or videography are not eligible

  • The CPOY81 Call for Entry provides complete details on categories, eligibility requirements, rules, and submission deadlines
