Role Purpose
Lead branch operations, drive commercial performance, manage portfolio quality and build strong relationships within the local business community.
Support financial empowerment initiatives through effective team leadership, customer engagement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Business Performance
Deliver branch growth and profitability by achieving disbursement, collection and portfolio performance targets.
Monitor and improve branch performance against established business objectives.
Support sustainable portfolio growth while maintaining quality standards.
Lead and Develop Your Team
Coach, mentor and motivate branch personnel to create a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Foster accountability and performance excellence across branch teams.
Support staff development and capability building.
Protect Portfolio Quality and Manage Risk
Ensure strict adherence to credit policies and procedures.
Conduct affordability assessments and monitor loan portfolio quality.
Implement fraud prevention measures and ensure responsible lending practices.
Maintain healthy portfolio performance through proactive risk management.
Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience
Champion customer advocacy and relationship management.
Educate borrowers on products and financial responsibilities.
Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Build and maintain strong relationships within local communities and business networks.
Drive Operational Excellence
Manage branch administration and operational activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Report market insights and business opportunities to Sector Management.
Identify and capitalize on
local market growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in a Business-related discipline.
Experience
Proven leadership experience, preferably as a Team Leader, Branch Manager or similar role within the financial services sector.
Demonstrated success in achieving performance KPIs and managing healthy loan portfolios.
Experience leading teams and driving business growth within a customer-focused environment.
