Village Health Works Jobs: Village Health Works (VHW) is a non-profit organization that strives to bring social justice through access to high quality health care for all as the path to progress and dignity.

They are currently hiring:

Country Director - Burundi

Qualifications:

Doctorate or Masters degree in relevant field (e.g. Public health and medicine, MBA, anthropology, law, media and communications, sociology, or related fields);

MD-MBA/MPH combined along with the following qualifications preferred;

Excellent experience in managing large projects, with multiple grants and donors in a fragile, post-conflict environment;

Must be able to prioritize work and to work independently;

Good judgment and discretion to represent VHW in a highly professional manner, as well as respect for local "culture."

Ability to handle confidential materials and matters with discretion;

Strong attention to detail, process management abilities; goal orientated;

Solid social-media and computer skills with the capability to master new software applications and technologies in database management. For more information and application, see: Country Director
