Role Purpose
Lead the organization's information technology function by developing and implementing IT strategies that support business objectives and manufacturing operations.
Ensure reliable, secure and efficient management of IT infrastructure, systems and technology projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals and manufacturing operations.
Oversee daily IT operations, systems administration and infrastructure management.
Ensure system security, data protection and business continuity across the organization.
Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective utilization of technology resources.
Manage vendor relationships, service providers and technology partners.
Lead and oversee IT projects, including system upgrades and implementations.
Provide technical leadership, guidance and support to the IT team.
Monitor and maintain IT performance standards to support business continuity and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in an IT management role.
Prior experience within the FMCG manufacturing industry, particularly wheat flour,
maize flour or animal feeds manufacturing environments, is preferred.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking and cybersecurity.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar enterprise platforms.
Proven track record in managing IT projects, suppliers and system implementation initiatives.
Strong understanding of business continuity and data protection practices.
Demonstrated experience managing technology vendors and service providers.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
