County Government of Laikipia ICT Officer I Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

  • This is the entry and training grade for this cadre.

  • An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

  • Maintain the County's website.

  • Create and manage users' emails under the county's domain.

  • Assist in packaging county information for use by different stakeholders.

  • Implement various county communication strategies for internal and external customers.

  • Design ways and means of cutting communication costs, such as the use of intra-emails.

  • Upgrade sites by updating content and graphics.

  • Monitor performance and results.

  • Identify and evaluate improvement options.

  • Introduce new technology.

  • Maintain links and handle other ICT issues related to communication and infrastructure.

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

  • Degree in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Communication Technology, or Electronics/Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
