One Acre Fund Finance Associate Jobs in Rwanda; You will support the Uganda program with financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting to inform decision‑making. In addition, you will collaborate with the Grants Finance team in overseeing the financial aspects of Uganda‑focused grants, including budgeting, reporting, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis

Lead development and continuous update of 5‑year rolling forecasts and financial models.

Align financial, operational, and impact assumptions between Country Director and Global Finance.

Act as primary financial advisor for strategic initiatives, providing recommendations backed by sensitivity analyses.

Direct monthly financial reporting and Budget vs. Actual (BVA) processes with department heads.

Grants Management

Oversee grant lifecycle, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and accurate reporting.

Develop donor budget reports and forecasts; monitor grant spending against budgets.

Manage fund flow models to guarantee liquidity for restricted activities.

Act as liaison between Finance, Field, and Fundraising teams to synchronize transfers and grant progress.

Compliance and Control

Lead preparation and timely filing of Uganda‑specific tax returns and statutory obligations.

Serve as primary contact for internal and external audits.

Strengthen financial integrity by identifying control weaknesses and risk exposures.

Partner with leadership to drive process improvements and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

Over 4 years of progressive experience in finance, consulting, or strategic advisory.

Full professional qualification in ACCA or CPA (U).

Experience managing multi‑currency grants from major donors.

Fluency in Power BI and Google Sheets; intermediate Excel modeling skills.

Proven ability to architect complex financial models and leverage data visualization for executive decision‑making.
