Requirements for Appointment

  • Cumulative service period of six (6) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been in the position of Library Assistant II or in a comparable position;

  • Diploma in Library Studies or Information Science or its equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution;

  • Proficiency in computer applications; and

  • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
