Job Summary
We are seeking a technically competent and safety-conscious Mechanical Installation Engineer with practical installation expertise and a strong commitment to quality delivery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, assembly, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, assemble, test, and commission mechanical equipment and systems.
Interpret engineering drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.
Inspect installed equipment and resolve mechanical installation faults.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Coordinate with project personnel and maintain accurate installation records.
Required Qualifications
B.Sc., HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
2–3 years of relevant professional experience.
Practical experience in mechanical installation, assembly, testing, and commissioning.
Relevant certifications in mechanical installation or equipment maintenance are an added advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment specifications.
Good knowledge of mechanical tools, installation procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective planning, time management, and coordination skills.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Willingness to work in field or site environments when required.
