One Acre Fund Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst Jobs in Kenya;Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, annual budgeting and long‑term financial planning. Build and maintain financial models, leverage BI tools to drive data analysis, and support strategic decision‑making.

Responsibilities

Reports, Models & Data Management

  • Build and maintain scalable, automated financial models.

  • Ensure seamless data integration and planning workflows.

  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity.

    Monthly & Quarterly Reporting

  • Spearhead reporting calendar and coordinate with FAS and Accounting teams.

  • Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly reports.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting workflows.

    Financial Planning

  • Assist in annual budgeting and five‑year projections.

  • Contribute to Board and lender packs preparation.

  • Upload and validate budgets across planning platforms.

    Ad Hoc Support

  • Provide analytical support for strategic decisions.

  • Conduct scenario modeling and data visualization.

  • Use BI tools (SQL, R) to develop insights.

  • Support other ad hoc projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Technical Skills

  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (financial modeling, formulas, data manipulation).

  • Project management experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Knowledge

  • Good understanding of financial processes and regulations.

  • Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, SSRS, SQL).

  • Knowledge of business planning processes.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.

    Soft Skills

  • Ability to work independently and in teams.

  • Ability to collaborate with remote colleagues.

  • Strong leadership skills with humility, patience and humor.
