Africare Jobs: Africare is an independent, non-profit organization working to improve the quality of life of the people in Africa.

They currently seek to recruit for the position of:

1. Deputy Chief of Party - Zambia

Qualifications:

Master’s degree required, international development, economics, agronomy, natural resources, environmental science, plant science, food science or related field;

5+ years of experience with rural livelihoods, microfinance and value chain work, in a senior level management position;

At least 5 years field experience working on the continent of Africa;

Extensive experience working with locally based implementing partners;

Strong interpersonal communication and management skills with the ability to provide guidance and support.

2. Monitoring and Evaluation (M & E) Manager - Mozambique

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in the social sciences/ humanities, and at least three years of experience of research and/or monitoring and evaluation, including data collection, data processing and analysis, and reporting

Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies

Ability to analyse and report on quantitative and qualitative data

Knowledge of results based management / performance management

Proficiency in using SPSS and/or STATA and the MS Office suite.
