One Acre Fund Regional Innovations Supervisor Jobs in Uganda;We are seeking a professional with experience in agronomy to help drive farmer impact at scale. You will support regional teams, assist with training initiatives, and execute field trials and innovations from start to finish. The role focuses on agronomy, trial monitoring, extension work, and training (including nursery management) to improve impact across coffee, trees, and nurseries.

Reporting to the Agronomy Lead, the Regional Innovations Officer supports regional innovation efforts and contributes to farmer impact by providing input to field teams, supporting cross‑department collaboration, managing field trials, and assisting with product rollouts from ideation through execution.

Key Responsibilities

Innovations, R&D & Trial Management

  • Identify knowledge gaps and coordinate regional field trials.

  • Manage data collection across product lifecycle from ideation to rollout.

    Drive Regional Impact Strategy

  • Provide technical guidance to program teams.

  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and design standardized data collection tools.

    Field Presence & Support

  • Conduct regular field visits to understand operational contexts and trends.

  • Support farmer training sessions.

    Career Growth & Development

  • Weekly check‑ins with manager.

  • Access to mentorship and training programs.

  • Regular feedback and career reviews every six months.

    Qualifications

  • 1–2 years’ experience in agronomy, extension work, or climate‑smart agriculture.

  • Familiarity with scientific method, experimental design, and randomized controlled trials.

  • Foundational data analysis and statistics skills.

  • Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into practical recommendations.

  • Strong report writing and communication skills.

  • Some project coordination experience and stakeholder collaboration.

  • Good judgment, problem‑solving, and adaptability.

  • Interest in human‑centered design and product development.

  • Ability to support training initiatives.
