The Canadian Red Cross seeks to recruit:

Food Security & Livelihoods Program Manager - Sudan

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in social sciences, economics or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement is highly preferred. Successful completion of the Red Cross Basic Training Course is an asset.
  • Previous experience working for a humanitarian aid organization in a developing country is required. Work experience in Africa is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a project management role preferably in an international development context.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in food security and livelihoods sector is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in staff management and development.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and conducting training and in sustainable knowledge transfer.
