Makini High School Principal Jobs in Kenya

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Education from a recognized university.

Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

Minimum ten (10) years of teaching experience with continuous classroom teaching experience.

Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Principal, Deputy Principal, or in a similar school leadership role.

Strong understanding of the Competency-Based Education (CBE) Curriculum.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Values

A team player with excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Good knowledge of Child Development.

Creative with strong teaching and reading abilities.

Patient and hands-on with learners.

Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.

Knowledgeable in modern pedagogy and demonstrable teaching practices.

Innovative and creative thinker.

Strong planning and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
