County Government of Laikipia Psychological Counsellor II Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre.

An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer.

Provide guidance and counselling services to County employees.

Promote personal and social development appropriate to career development.

Organize sensitization workshops on guidance and counselling.

Provide appropriate interventions to assist workers with work-related problems.

Assist in identifying employees with social, psychological or health-related problems and provide appropriate interventions or advice.

Assist in the orientation of new employees.

Provide specialized assistance in liaison with other stakeholders on guidance and counselling issues.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, or an equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.

Registration with the Kenya Counselling Association (KCA).
