Editor at Inter Region Economic Network

The Editor will be responsible for content, production, planning and coordination of a weekly online magazine.

Key Skills

Excellent literally skills – Knowledge in Swahili language will be of added advantage

Excellent communication skills

Research and interview skills

Knowledge in photo editing

Planning and coordination skills

Awareness of basic journalistic principles and news styles

Thoroughness and an eye for detail

Qualifications

University degree in English (a diploma in journalism will be of added advantage)

The candidate should have worked as a newspaper writer or editor for at least one year

Working knowledge of journalistic writing, editing, graphics and photography

Knowledge and/or experience in online magazines preferred
