IBRO Speaker Support Program




IBRO Speaker Support Program;Provides targeted funding support for smaller neuroscience events, with emphasis on enhancing participation of speakers from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds.

Eligibility

  • Open to organizers of smaller neuroscience events (symposia, workshops, short courses, etc.)

  • IBRO membership is not required

  • Events must be held in 2027

  • Formats: in‑person or hybrid (virtual‑only events are not eligible)

  • IBRO Equitable Meeting Awards grantees are not eligible for this program in the same year

    Key Conditions

  • Funding is intended to support speaker participation, especially from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds

  • Regional restrictions apply as outlined in IBRO guidelines

  • Events must align with IBRO’s mission to promote neuroscience globally
