Alight FutureKind Strategic Catalyst Jobs in Kenya;The FutureKind Strategic Catalyst will help discover, shape, communicate, and mobilize the ideas that define the future of displacement.

Working with customers, design teams, country teams, philanthropists, governments, and creative partners, the Catalyst transforms promising ideas into compelling initiatives that attract partners, funding, and momentum for Alight’s FutureKind portfolio.

Key Duties

Opportunity Discovery & Idea Generation – 30%

  • Identify emerging needs and generate new ideas through engagement and collaboration

  • Facilitate co‑creation workshops

  • Listen to customers, host communities, governments, and partners to uncover opportunities

    Narrative Development & Thought Leadership – 30%

  • Shape ideas into compelling stories and concepts that inspire action and investment

  • Support narrative building and thought leadership under the Director, FutureKind Strategy

  • Turn complex insights into proposals, presentations, and funding opportunities

  • Tell stories that inspire action across diverse audiences

    Partnership Building, Movement Mobilization & Learning – 40%

  • Mobilize people, resources, and evidence to advance ideas and impact

  • Scout opportunities and build ecosystems across philanthropy, government, business, academia, design, technology, and media

  • Cultivate catalytic philanthropic relationships and strategic partnerships

  • Design and host convenings to build community and attract collaborators

  • Represent Alight and FutureKind externally

  • Capture learning and strengthen evidence and impact across the portfolio

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience identifying opportunities, cultivating
    relationships, and converting ideas into partnerships or funding outcomes

  • Experience in social impact, CBOs, for‑profit for‑good spaces, or related fields preferred

  • Proven success in donor and partner relationship management

  • Experience facilitating workshops, leading meetings, and conducting community interviews

  • Strong track record in creating proposals, fundraising materials, and strategic communications

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Deep listening and curiosity; ability to connect ideas and foster learning

  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and collaborative workshops

  • Ability to craft compelling narratives tailored to diverse audiences

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to build trust across sectors and cultures

  • Ability to synthesize complex information into practical action

  • Demonstrated customer‑centered approach in solutions

  • Comfortable working in evolving environments and traveling to refugee settlements
