Job Description

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure availability and reliability of hardware, CCTV, printers and UPS systems within HQ, commissary and branches.

  • Support operations of all commissary systems, network/internet and connectivity between commissary and branches.

  • Provide end‑user support for hardware, software and network problems.

  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on workstations and IT equipment.

  • Participate in desktop hardware upgrades and new store/system rollouts.

  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment under jurisdiction.

  • Install and customise network equipment and provide network support.

  • Troubleshoot network, printer and cabling problems.

  • Provide regular reports on application, network and system availability.

  • Schedule and perform hardware maintenance for computers, peripherals and printers.

  • Provide cabling support and day‑to‑day administration.

  • Troubleshoot cabling issues and report branch requirements and needs.

  • Ensure all helpdesk calls/incidents are addressed within SLA response time.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department.

    Academic / Professional Qualifications

  • B.Sc./Diploma in Electronics, Computer Science or related field.

  • Possess A+, N+ or MCT/MCITP certification.

  • Hardware and software troubleshooting skills.

    Functional Skills

  • Experience with Windows Server 2003/2008 platforms, Active Directory and Windows XP environment.

  • Skills in troubleshooting hardware, POS, cabling and printers.

  • Working knowledge of WAN, LAN, cabling, hardware troubleshooting, operating systems and EPOS support.

    Experience

  • 2 years’ experience in computer hardware and system software support across remote sites.
