APA Life Assurance Company Ltd Care Assessor Jobs in Kenya



Key Primary Responsibilities

  • Review and issue pre‑authorization.

  • Handle 24‑hour call center (cell phones/office lines) and respond to client queries.

  • Interact with clients, brokers, clinicians, APA relationship officers and scheme HRs to resolve problems/update progress.

  • Conduct hospital visits to assess patient care and maintain client/provider relationships.

  • Report adverse occurrences relating to client management/policy and ensure compliance with quality patient care.

  • Coordinate step‑down management and referrals for clients with chronic diseases.

  • Participate in health talks, wellness camps and service meetings.

  • Participate in company CSR and brand‑building activities in liaison with other departments.

    Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline.

    Skills and Attributes

  • Leadership skills.

  • Interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Analytical skills.

    Professional Qualifications

  • Relevant professional qualification.

    Experience

  • At least 4 years’ relevant experience.
