International Rescue Committee Senior Officer - Health Partnerships Jobs in Kenya; The International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks a driven partnerships professional with knowledge of the Global Health sector to develop and deepen partnerships with corporate partners. This role is part of the Global Corporate Partnerships (GCP) team, which leads IRC’s engagement with corporations and corporate foundations across financial services, healthcare, consumer goods, and technology.

As Senior Officer, you will manage a portfolio of corporate partners — primarily in Global Health, with a smaller portfolio in financial services — cultivating, stewarding, and soliciting donors while building tailored fundraising strategies focused on sustained revenue generation, in‑kind support, and humanitarian impact.

Major Responsibilities

  • Steward and cultivate a $3M+ USD portfolio of partners and prospects in support of the Global Corporate Partnerships Health strategy.

  • Deliver robust strategies for Global Health sector partnerships through diverse models (strategic, employee engagement, pro bono expertise).

  • Support Associate Director of Health Partnerships in building and managing a new business pipeline.

  • Research and identify prospective corporate partners in Global Health and financial services.

  • Design and implement stewardship, engagement, and growth strategies including account plans, proposals, and partnership discussions.

  • Develop and review materials for partners and prospects (concept notes, proposals, presentations, reports).

  • Work with External Relations teams to leverage health‑related events and campaigns.

  • Establish client servicing plans with KPIs, planning, and reporting procedures.

  • Facilitate information flows between prospects, donors, program staff, and GCP officers.

  • Undertake special assignments as needed.

    Essential Qualifications

    Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 6 years’ relevant experience.

  • Experience working within the Global Health sector and community.

  • Minimum 6 years’ partnership development and/or corporate fundraising experience.

  • Experience engaging health companies, communities, influencers, and
    partners to support humanitarian efforts.

    Skills and Competencies

  • Management or solicitation of partnerships valued at $500,000+ USD annually.

  • Ability to develop and implement project management plans.

  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in fast‑paced environments.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

    Desired Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills; experience with global cross‑functional teams.

  • Ability to travel for partnership meetings in the US (twice per year) and potentially internationally.

    Working Environment

  • Hybrid role; may require remote work.

  • Open to candidates with right to work in Kenya, UK, or US.

  • Local employment contracts and salary scales apply.

    Compensation

  • US Pay Rate: $95,000–$103,000/year.

  • UK Pay Rate: £52,210–£61,999/year.

  • Offers calibrated by location, experience, and skills.
