Zetech University Tutorial Fellow - Pharmacy Jobs in Kenya

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Teach Pharmacology Units allocated by the Head of Department.

Design, develop, plan, and deliver a range of programmes of study, including new courses at various levels.

Deliver high‑quality lectures and practical sessions.

Review pharmacology course content and materials regularly, updating when required.

Collaborate with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes, and research activities.

Carry out research and write research grant proposals.

Seek and participate in consultancies.

Disseminate research findings at national or international conferences, scientific symposiums, and webinars.

Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.

Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors or as captured in the detailed job description.

Qualifications / Experience

Master’s degree in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Analysis, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, or Clinical Pharmacy from an accredited university.

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university.

At least three (3) years of post‑qualification work experience.

Demonstrated potential for university teaching, research, and community extension.

Commitment to high‑quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment.

Valid Pharmacy and Poisons Board Practice Licence.
