One Acre Fund Tupande Export Logistics Senior Specialist Jobs in Kenya;The Export Logistics Specialist oversees and manages end‑to‑end export operations to ensure goods leave facilities and reach international vendors on time, within budget and in compliance with regulations and safety standards.

The role focuses on planning, coordination, documentation and stakeholder management for all exports handled by Soko.

Key Responsibilities

Export Operations & Coordination

Plan, organize and oversee the export process from order placement to delivery.

Coordinate with production, warehousing and procurement teams.

Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers and logistics providers.

Track shipments, resolve delays and ensure smooth cargo movement.

Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and review export documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, licenses).

Ensure compliance with trade laws, customs regulations and policies.

Maintain accurate records for audit and reporting.

Stay updated on export/import regulations and trade agreements.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

Act as primary contact for clients on export inquiries.

Provide timely updates on order and shipment status.

Resolve complaints and documentation errors.

Build strong relationships with shipping agents, port authorities and regulators.

Performance Management

Negotiate shipping rates and optimize costs.

Analyze performance and recommend efficiency improvements.

Reconditioning

Coordinate container reconditioning when regulators identify non‑compliance.

Ensure processes follow SOPs and documentation standards.

Communicate with service providers managing sterilization or rework.

Supply Chain Traceability

Ensure clear, verifiable origin and traceable documentation.

Work with sourcing

and quality teams to build traceability systems.

Maintain audit‑ready certifications and inspection records.

Cost Efficiency

Monitor freight costs, duties and tariffs.

Identify cost reduction opportunities.

Implement strategies to improve utilization and reduce demurrage.

Review freight spend and propose savings initiatives.

Qualifications

5+ years’ supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in exports.

Proficiency in export management systems and tracking tools.

Advanced skills in Google Sheets (complex formulas/functions).

Strong planning and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Analytical mindset for cost projections and performance tracking.

Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Language: English required; Swahili useful.

Eligibility

Open to citizens or permanent residents of Kenya.
