The AU-EU Youth Action Lab Grants for Youth-led Initiatives in Africa;The AU‑EU Youth Action Lab offers funding for youth‑led initiatives in Africa and Europe.

It connects youth initiatives with peers to share ideas, learn from each other and collaborate.

The Lab also creates opportunities for young people to bring their voices and solutions to decision‑makers, including the African Union and European Union.

Objectives

  • Strengthen inclusion and diversity — broaden participation in global youth engagement by reaching communities often excluded from international spaces.

  • Reduce fragmentation — create stronger connections and collaboration between actors working across the global youth agenda.

  • Shape a collective path forward — transform dialogue into commitments, build partnerships and agree on actionable measures to accelerate youth priorities and participation in decision‑making.

    Grant Types

    For this final cohort, two types of grants are offered.

  • Each grant has its own focus.

  • Both share the same goal: supporting youth‑led initiatives in a power‑shifting way.
