Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development Assistant Studio Technical Operator III Jobs



Overall Purpose

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating, organizing and prioritizing office activities and operations to enhance efficiency and compliance.

  • Set up and dismantle studio and control room equipment.

  • Operate basic audio and visual recording equipment during live or pre‑recorded sessions.

  • Handle cables, lighting, microphones, and signal routing under guidance.

  • Log broadcast sessions and maintain studio logs.

  • Perform basic cleaning and equipment maintenance routines.

  • Label and archive recordings and digital content.

  • Report faults and escalate technical issues.

    Requirement for Appointment

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C (Plain) or its equivalent qualification.

  • Diploma in Audio‑Visual Technology, Studio Operations, Broadcast Engineering, or related field from a recognized institution.

  • Proficiency in computer applications.
