TheJitu.com EDI Analyst Jobs in Kenya;The EDI Analyst will support technical and customer‑focused EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) projects, including connections, data mapping, scripting, testing, and troubleshooting. The role involves working closely with customers and vendors to understand and implement integration requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support setup and maintenance of EDI connections and integrations.

  • Map and transform inbound and outbound data segments based on business requirements.

  • Communicate with customers and vendors to clarify integration requirements.

  • Assist with setup and troubleshooting of SFTP and AS2 connections.

  • Develop and maintain scripts for data transformation and processing.

  • Work with JSON data structures and document templates.

  • Support Lua scripting for data transformation and integration processes.

  • Test EDI mappings, connections, and integrations.

  • Troubleshoot integration and data‑mapping issues.

  • Collaborate with Rodney and the technical team on new and existing EDI connections.

  • Document mappings, configurations, and integration processes.

    Qualifications / Work Experience

  • Academic Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • Professional Basic understanding of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).

  • Professional Good Python scripting skills.

  • Professional Understanding of JSON and structured data.

  • Professional Ability to map and transform different
    data segments and formats.

  • Professional Basic knowledge of SFTP and AS2 connections.

  • Professional Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

  • Professional Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Professional Ability to communicate professionally with customers and vendors.

  • Professional Willingness and ability to learn Lua scripting.

  • Professional Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with EDI platforms, data integration, APIs, or system integrations.

  • Experience working with Purchase Orders, Invoices, ASNs, or other EDI business documents.

  • Previous experience working with customers or vendors on technical requirements and integrations.
