U.S. Embassy Kenya Information Management Assistant Jobs;The Information Management Assistant (Diplomatic Technology Assistant) is a member of the DT Customer Engagement team, responsible for front‑line response to customer queries in person and via remote channels. The role requires a Top Secret Security Clearance and involves service desk support, systems administration, event IT support, training, and cybersecurity.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Service Desk Support, Operations & Systems Administration (70%)

  • Provide hardware, applications, and systems support on classified and unclassified systems.

  • Assist users with routine IT issues, manage user accounts, and maintain system functionality.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.

    Technical & Systems Support in Controlled Access Areas (CAA)

  • Deliver technical support in CAA and general work areas.

    Event & VIP IT Support (15%)

  • Provide IT support for events and VIP engagements.

    Training, Knowledge Management & Cybersecurity (15%)

  • Conduct training sessions and support knowledge management initiatives.

  • Promote cybersecurity awareness and compliance.

    Projects & Administrative Support (15%)

  • Support IT projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Library & Data Science/Analytics, or Communications & Technology.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in computer networking operations, network management, or utilization of computer systems.
