CDL Human Resource Senior Exports Supervisor - Mombasa Jobs in Kenya;Supervise day‑to‑day export operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. Coordinate export activities, support business development, monitor team performance, and ensure timely execution of export processes in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Supervision

Supervise daily export operations to meet customer requirements.

Coordinate documentation, customs clearance, shipping, transport, and warehouse activities.

Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions.

Escalate operational risks and service issues promptly.

Client Service & Relationship Management

Maintain strong client relationships and ensure service excellence.

Resolve customer concerns within agreed service levels.

Conduct client service reviews and support retention initiatives.

Support tariff reviews and implementation.

Regulatory & Compliance

Ensure compliance with customs regulations, KRA requirements, and company procedures.

Coordinate submission of bond returns and statutory documentation.

Support audits and ensure documentation accuracy.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

Monitor departmental KPIs and productivity.

Analyse operational trends and recommend improvements.

Business Development Support

Support identification of new business opportunities.

Prepare quotations and operational proposals.

Participate in customer visits and support new account implementation.

Team

Leadership

Supervise, coach, and develop the exports team.

Allocate work, monitor productivity, and conduct performance discussions.

Identify training needs and support capability development.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Champion process improvement initiatives and operational excellence projects.

Qualifications / Work Experience

Academic Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

Professional Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in export operations within logistics, freight forwarding, transport, or supply chain management.

Professional Minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory role managing teams.
