JSI Manager - Health Supply Chain Transformation Jobs in Kenya;The Manager will lead and support the design and implementation of innovative health supply chain interventions across operating countries.

The role will provide technical and functional leadership to Analysts and Senior Analysts, while engaging Ministries of Health, government agencies, private‑sector clients, NGOs, donors and partners to co‑design practical, sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Project Implementation and Coordination

  • Manage in‑country project implementation, identify challenges and co‑design solutions with stakeholders.

    Functional Leadership, Team Development and Technical Quality Assurance

  • Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to Analysts and Senior Analysts.

  • Ensure technical quality assurance at key project milestones.

    Data Utilization and Analysis

  • Lead data‑driven problem‑solving initiatives.

  • Implement IMPACT team models and frameworks in data review meetings.

    Stakeholder and Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with Ministries of Health, NGOs, donors and clients.

  • Advocate for adoption of innovative and sustainable approaches.

    Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Foster a culture of innovation and human‑centered design.

  • Identify opportunities for digitalisation, advanced quantification tools and integration with national health supply chains.

    Business Development and Growth

  • Scout for new projects and opportunities.

  • Contribute to proposals, concept notes and technical approaches.

    Performance Monitoring and Adaptive Learning

  • Oversee data collection, review and analysis of monitoring indicators.

  • Facilitate adaptive learning sessions and evidence‑based decision‑making.

    Knowledge Management and Technical Thought Leadership

  • Capture and share technical insights, lessons learned and good practices.

  • Contribute to development of tools, methodologies, reports and knowledge products.

    Project Management

  • When assigned, assume responsibility for day‑to‑day project delivery, coordination and
    achievement of results.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Public Health, Healthcare Supply Chain or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • At least 7 years’ experience in global health or development, including 5 years in health supply chain management.

  • Demonstrated experience across a range of health supply chain programmes.

  • Strong technical experience in forecasting, supply planning, LMIS, inventory management, storage and distribution.

  • Experience working with Ministries of Health, NGOs, donors and partners.

  • Professional certification in supply chain or project management (APICS CSCP, PMP) preferred.

  • Experience in social marketing, healthcare social enterprise or NGO health programmes desirable.

  • Demonstrated project management and business development experience.

  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills.
