Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Community Development, Social Work, Anthropology, Development Studies, Public Administration, Political Science, Communication, Monitoring & Evaluation, Sociology & Economics, Project Management, Gender & Development Studies or Public Policy & Administration from a university recognized in Kenya.

    Job Summary

    This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in monitoring and evaluation of social development programs.

  • Promote collaboration among communities, contractors and stakeholders.

  • Contribute to development of mechanisms for grievance and dispute resolution.

  • Participate in social performance audits of community development projects.

  • Promote public awareness and sensitization on petroleum impacts.

  • Prepare feedback mechanisms on social development matters in petroleum operations.
