One Acre Fund Tupande Logistics and MRV Coordinator Jobs in Kenya; To lead the distribution of biochar and manage the Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) program, ensuring accurate data collection, compliance with carbon standards, and effective logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities

dMRV Program Leadership

  • Design, implement, and manage the facility’s dMRV system covering feedstock, production, quality, and carbon sequestration.

  • Ensure accurate, consistent, and traceable data collection aligned with carbon standards (Puro.earth, EBC, IBI).

  • Oversee Lab/Quality Technicians to ensure dMRV‑grade data quality.

  • Prepare monitoring, verification, and audit‑ready reports for carbon credit issuance.

  • Liaise with auditors, verifiers, and certification bodies.

  • Develop dashboards and reporting templates for dMRV.

  • Train staff on data recording requirements and integrity.

  • Stay current on evolving carbon standards and methodologies.

  • Contribute to process improvement with Production and Logistics teams.

    Distribution Logistics Coordination
  • Own forecasting process translating production output into logistics requirements.

  • Lead weekly planning sync with Soko Logistics Manager.

  • Serve as point of contact between Biochar production and Soko Logistics.

  • Plan and adjust delivery schedules based on output and farmer demand.

  • Manage delivery records and customer tracking.

  • Resolve delivery issues and escalate systemic problems.

    Farmer Engagement & Training
  • Develop training materials for Asili field staff on biochar application and evidence collection.

  • Deliver refresher training each season.

  • Collect and consolidate farmer feedback.

  • Lead grievance resolution and escalate unresolved issues.

    Performance Tracking
  • Track distribution KPIs including delivery completion and on‑time performance.

  • Track
    MRV completeness across feedstock, production, quality, and end‑use.

  • Report monthly distribution and MRV performance.

    Career Growth & Development
  • Participate in weekly check‑ins, mentorship, and training programs.

  • Engage in career reviews every six months.

  • Shape organizational growth and build a rewarding long‑term career.

    Qualifications

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Data Science, Engineering, Agronomy, or related field.

  • 2–3 years’ experience in carbon markets, MRV, sustainability reporting, or environmental data management.

  • Familiarity with biochar carbon standards (Isometric, Puro.earth, EBC, IBI) preferred.

  • Strong data management, reporting, and analytical skills.

  • Experience with data platforms, spreadsheets, or monitoring software.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
