Kenya Veterinary Board Assistant Animal Health Technologist III Jobs in Kenya;This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An Assistant Animal Health Technologist at this level will work under the guidance of a Senior Officer and can be deployed in any of the following functional areas:

Education and Training

Ascertain attachments of required application documents.

Capture and record application information.

Attend to day‑to‑day enquiries on CPD matters.

Receive application forms and requests.

Receive and record submitted documents for registration of animal health institutions.

Assist in compilation of pre‑registration examination applications.

Receive and record internship documents.

Receive continuous professional development (CPD) applications.

Assist in document management including e‑filing.

Review submitted documents for registration of animal health institutions.

Assist in compilation of pre‑registration examination applications.

Assist in document management including e‑filing.

Compliance

Receive and enter complaints into the complaints register.

Capture and record application information and inspection raw data.

Attend to day‑to‑day enquiries on compliance matters.

Receive application forms and requests.

Assist in preparation of documents and materials for inspection of veterinary practices offered in private and public entities within the region for licensing.

Assist in preparation of documents and materials for inspection of inputs and products of the animal

resources industry in conjunction with other stakeholders.

Support enforcement of compliance with the VSVP Act 2011.

Assist in the surveillance of technologies used in veterinary service delivery.

Person Specification

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

Diploma in Animal Health, Animal Health and Production, Animal Health and Range Management, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Registration by Kenya Veterinary Board and in good standing.

Proficiency in computer applications.
