Summit Human Resource & Marketing Consultant Construction Storekeeper Jobs in Kenya;We are looking for a Construction Storekeeper to manage construction materials, tools, equipment and stock at a construction site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for proper receiving, storage, issuing, recording and accountability of construction materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and record all construction materials delivered to site.

  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.

  • Issue materials and tools based on authorized requisitions.

  • Monitor stock levels and identify materials requiring replenishment.

  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with records.

  • Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials.

  • Maintain an organized, clean and secure site store.

  • Monitor material usage and minimize loss, damage and wastage.

  • Prepare stock and inventory reports.

  • Work closely with the Site Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Procurement and Project Management teams.

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate or Diploma in Construction, Building & Construction, Quantity Surveying or related field (MUST).

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in construction stores or as a Construction Storekeeper.

  • Experience handling construction materials, tools and equipment.

  • Good understanding of stock control and inventory management.

  • Strong record‑keeping and documentation skills.

  • Good communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a busy construction‑site environment.

  • Honesty, reliability and attention to detail are essential.
