CDL Human Resource Area Sales Manager - Bombolulu Jobs in Kenya;The Area Sales Manager will focus on channel visitations to drive retailer awareness and turnaround on SIMs and Float, while ensuring visibility and merchandising at points of purchase for SSOs and cash agents.

Key Responsibilities

  • SSO & Agent Recruitment & Mapping – Manage identification and recruitment of agents, targeting mobile money outlets and high‑traffic retail stores.

  • Call Rate – Visit SSOs and agents regularly using agreed route plans (beat plans).

  • Training & Delivery of Business Tools – Provide requisite tools for transactions at SSO and agent outlets; train SSOs and TKash agents on processes.

  • AML Training & Testing – Train agents on AML and SSOs on KYC processes in relation to SIMREG.

  • Float & Stock Cover and Sales – Monitor and enforce 1.5x stock rule for agents; ensure SSOs have adequate SIM stock for new registrations and activations.

  • Merchandising – Develop and maintain merchandising standards by availing materials at SSOs and agent outlets.

    Principal Outputs

  • Outlet recruitment – Tkash, SSOs, ASOs.

  • Outlet management – retailer training, branding and output tracking.

  • Sales targets
    – deliver assigned sales targets on Tkash, SSOs, gross additions and devices.

  • Product visibility (PICOS) – ensure visibility at ASO, Tkash, SSO and retailer outlets.

  • Product availability – ensure availability of telecommunications products within assigned markets.

  • Reports – prepare and share reports as required.

    Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in sales and distribution role in FMCG or telecommunications.

  • Strong customer focus.

  • Influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Networking and partnership‑building abilities.

  • Analytical thinking skills.
