ALX Learning Community & Hub Operations Intern Jobs in Kenya
Specific Responsibilities
Learner Support and Community Engagement
Provide timely support and guidance to learners throughout their ALX program journey.
Assist with onboarding activities to help learners successfully start courses.
Track learner progress, identify challenges and proactively offer solutions.
Support data collection and reporting on learner milestones and outcomes.
Facilitate communications and engagement campaigns across multiple channels.
Collaborate with mentors, program managers and stakeholders to coordinate learner support.
Assist with organizing learning events, webinars and workshops.
Contribute ideas to improve learner experience processes and systems.
Support other activities that advance learner or community engagement.
Hub Operations and Stakeholder Management
Maintain strong relationships with hub stakeholders and partners.
Ensure hub cleanliness, safety and operational standards through weekly inspections.
Coordinate and meet with hub support staff to track duties and resolve challenges.
Ensure hub access, maintenance and repairs are handled promptly.
Maintain a safe, clean environment for learners and the ALX community.
Collect monthly feedback from the community on areas for improvement.
Ensure hub property and assets are maintained; report repairs or breakages promptly.
Liaise with service providers and maintain records of services and payments.
Skill Requirements – Essential
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Problem‑solving mindset; able to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency with digital tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom).
Data analysis skills to interpret learner attendance and progress reports.
Skill Requirements – Preferable
Previous experience in education support, customer service or learner engagement.
Experience managing social media communities or digital learning platforms.
Basic understanding of program/project management tools.
Exposure to data visualization tools (Google Data Studio, Power BI).
