Glovo Head of Q Commerce Jobs in Kenya;At Glovo, you’ll help build the largest marketplace in your city, delivering groceries, electronics, flowers, medicine and more within minutes. As Head of Q‑Commerce, you will drive strategy and execution, grow the darkstore business, develop strong partner relationships and lead a high‑performing team.

The Journey

  • Own Q‑Commerce P&Ls (Groceries, Retail, Darkstore).

  • Define medium and long‑term strategy to achieve growth and profitability.

  • Build and maintain relationships with top retail and grocery partners.

  • Lead commercial team to onboard new partners and account management team to grow active partners.

  • Establish sustainable partnerships and renegotiate contracts where necessary.

  • Grow darkstore network sustainably.

  • Improve operational efficiency of partners and darkstores to deliver best service.

  • Gather partner feedback and translate into product, marketing and operations improvements.

    Qualifications

  • 6+ years’ experience in fast‑paced environments (FMCG, retail, startups, consulting, internet firms).

  • Experience owning full P&L.

  • Experience working cross‑functionally with senior stakeholders.

  • Driven to build business from scratch; bias for action, deadline‑oriented.

  • Ability to hire, manage and retain top talent.

  • Understanding of retail business and revenue drivers.

  • Strong negotiation skills with big retail players.

  • Data‑driven mentality with sound business judgment.

  • Ability to find smart solutions to complex problems.
