Drive strong individual execution, contribute to team success, and conduct deep‑dive data analysis to determine optimal purchasing windows while managing the entire procurement process independently.

Responsibilities

Execute Procurement with Excellence

  • Support creation and execution of seasonal procurement strategies.

  • Deliver +90% OTIF (On‑Time, In‑Full) delivery and 5% annual cost savings.

  • Ensure absolute quality control with 0 issues reaching farmers.

  • Maintain +80% on‑time supplier payment rate.

  • Proactively address supply gaps by evaluating farmer needs, market trends and inventory.

  • Drive lead‑time improvements through streamlined delivery and automation.

  • Improve operations such as goods receipt and loading quality control.

  • Develop and maintain Google Sheets data models to track market trends and landed costs.

  • Provide decision support on optimal purchasing windows.

    Build Partnerships & Market Liaisons

  • Maintain deep partnerships with fertilizer suppliers and industry organizations.

  • Collaborate with country teams to identify opportunities for farmers.

  • Represent One Acre Fund externally with suppliers and market actors.

    People Management

  • Manage and mentor a small team with clear goals and feedback.

  • Conduct career coaching and performance reviews.

  • Contribute to staffing, recruitment and succession planning.

    Professional & Technical Competencies

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

    Management & Execution Skills
