Key Duties & Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities at this level will involve:

  • Ensuring efficient and proper organization and management of hospitality services.

  • Carrying out on‑the‑job training of staff.

  • Supervising staff.

  • Monitoring staff performance.

  • Ensuring conformity with set standards.

  • Appraising staff.

  • Reviewing menus.

  • Carrying out training needs assessment yearly.

  • Participating in budgeting.

  • Ensuring use of standard operating procedures.

    Person Specification

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

  • Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Hotel Management, Housekeeping and Front Office Management, Housekeeping and Laundry Operations, Hospitality Management, or a related qualification from a recognized institution.

  • Proficiency in computer applications.
