Aga Khan Education Service ICT Support Associate Jobs in Kenya

Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective ICT support across the school to ensure smooth operation of digital infrastructure.

  • Empower staff and students to maximize technology use in teaching, learning, and daily operations.

  • Install, configure, and maintain ICT hardware, software, and networks.

  • Apply cybersecurity best practices and ensure compliance with data protection requirements.

  • Manage ICT assets, maintain accurate inventory, and coordinate ICT equipment repairs.

  • Provide strong user support by developing ICT procedures, delivering training, and promoting effective technology use.

  • Manage server infrastructure and wireless access points (e.g. Aruba networks).

  • Train and build capacity among non‑technical users.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

  • Maintain a professional, proactive, and responsive approach to service delivery.

  • Diagnose and resolve ICT issues with keen attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively to emergencies.

    Qualifications / Work Experience

  • Academic Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Bachelor’s Degree is an added advantage.

  • Professional Certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft Systems Engineering, ITIL.

  • Professional Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role. Previous experience working in a school environment will be an added advantage.

  • Professional Proven experience managing network infrastructure and user support in an institutional setting.
